Almost Grasped, But Not Quite

SKY

I love the sky. It reminds me of home.
Call me weird but I find
solace in staring at my desktop wallpaper (featuring a field and a sky)
when i get bored at home and at work and can’t continue. I just stop, click on my
desktop button (so all those open docs and websites disappear even for
just a teeny-weeny while) and stare at my own little sky.

I miss the simple life. I miss HOME.

What
will you do when you need to write something but you end up staring at
Word for such a long time thinking about… nothing? It’s the feeling
you get when the passion, the eagerness, the excitement is slowly,
painfully dying and you’ll wake up one morning trying to tie your shoes
and learning the basics of it all.

While I was doing
something (something=work), reality just struck me when I stared at my
desk calendar. I suddenly remembered that during this time last year, I
was cramming for school. Thesis, projects, finals, graduation fees…
And now… Sigh! Hard to compare. Harder to reminisce. I’ve always
loved college. And I will always love the memories.

I miss it. I miss them. Terribly!

Life
gets more complicated and complicated with every breath we take.
And I
know I’m not making mine simplier. Maybe it’s just the way things
should be.

I MISS A LOT OF THINGS.
